This is a very rare Joe Gibbs Edition Tahoe. Joe was an NFL coach who led the Redskins to three Super Bowl titles over his career before moving to NASCAR and becoming a race team owner. He was commissioned by Chevrolet to create a Joe Gibbs Performance line of vehicles. This is #28 of the Tahoe line he created. Starting with a stock 2004 Chevy Tahoe, Joe Gibbs Performance takes the vehicle to another level with performance improvements, exterior upgrades, interior refinement as well as some additional customer selected options. The supercharged and intercooled LS V-8 puts out approximately 400 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. That much power required larger drilled and slotted disc brakes, 20x8.5” hyper-silver wheels, Gibbs/Corsa designed stainless steel after-cat exhaust and tuned suspension to name a few. Moving to the exterior you’ll notice Gibbs designed rocker panels, D-pillar panels taken from the Escalade, wheel flares, bumper covers, performance badges, etc. The interior was enhanced as well from the gauges to the seats to the floor mats to the electronics. As you can see this vehicle is in excellent original condition and has been very well taken care of. It’s an amazing drive, power everything, a/c front & rear, rides very smooth and will shock you with all the performance aspects.
